| 3rd Annual Members Choice Awards All member of TarValon.Net are encouraged to vote in our Member's Choice Awards, the annual award ceremony that honors specatular contributions and participation among our membership. Please consider each choice carefully, and do not simply pick a person because they are part of your Ajah or Company (or one you want to join), because you are friends, or because of any issue of loyalty. Consider each applicant and their general contribution to the community as a whole. Things to consider will be posted along with the nominees to help you in making your decision. All votes will be confidential, and identifying information is only asked so we do not count any vote more than once. The nominies will not know how or how many people have voted for them. | When voting on "Best Contribution" awards, consider the time it took (or takes) to develop, research or manage the project, and its general value to the Tower, its members and its guests. Some contributions are research, others web design or the making of applications, some are management. Consider carefully what the actual project is before voting (i.e. dont judge a management project or research project based on web design). |
| Mentors are members who have taken on the responsability of guiding Jr. Tower members in their journey to become either Aes Sedai or Gaidin. They should be present and easy to get ahold of, involved with their mentees, and approachable by any Jr. Member who may have questions about Sr. Membership or their Ajah/Company. |
| "Friendliest Member" should go to someone you feel is approachable, thoughtful, and who goes out of their way to make everyone they meet feel like they're someone special. |
| "Most Inspirational" should go to the member who you either feel has inspired you with their own personal accomplishments or has worked actively to help you achieve your own. |
| The "Most Helpful" award should go to a member who is consistantly helping out when help is needed. They often do the tireless work of repeating instructions, walking new members through basic processes,or helping exisitng members learn new process. They should be easily found and approachable. |
| Community Admins (HoA and CC) handle many roles within the Tower. In addition to maintaining their Headquarters (the smallest part of their job!) they work to keep the feeling of a small community even while we grow, and work to create fraternity and sorority within their respective groups. They are organized, approachable, innovative, problem solvers, trustworthy and fair. Please remember, you do not need to vote for your own HoA or CC. All of these people do an excellent job, and we are looking to honor one or two of them for extra efforts made this year. |
